corporate benchmarking

Tailor made projects

Ever been asked "What does good look like?"

Corporate Benchmarking Services works with individuals in organisations who need to demonstrate departmental performance relative to peers and competitors; to demonstrate parity, cost effectiveness, competence or even inequalities. It might be to find out simply what's possible or to give new targets to work towards or improved standards to meet.

With our long history working in the industry, we have formed good relationships with hundreds of practitioners in the Health, Safety and Environmental profession amongst whom we have a reputation for integrity, reliability and cost-effectiveness.

We have developed techniques to help project-participants willingly engage with our programmes, removing fears about confidentiality, and increasing reciprocity that helps cut through many of the obstacles which can stand in the way of successful benchmarking. Our methods genuinely produce results.

Most of all, we have built up a range of experience which means that we are equipped with a strong understanding of the needs of clients and the realities that need to be considered when planning to benchmark.

Clients include:  BAE Systems, Tesco Plc, Centrica, E.ON, Severn Trent Water, Royal Mail, Imperial Tobacco and International Power.

Example: 2013/14 Tesco Plc

17 companies answered over 40 questions via an emailed template and telephone interview. The results were presented as both individual company submissions and a consolidated report. All participants received a full copy of the report.

“The strategic review of safety for our customers and work colleagues carried out across 2013/14 has successfully concluded the first phase and a paper setting out sustainable features and current challenges for our safety management processes, with recommendations for the future, has been accepted by the Tesco Executive.
Corporate Benchmarking Services Ltd made a significant contribution to our overall safety review process through an excellent industry-wide, bespoke safety-benchmarking study carried out on our behalf in 2013, for which I thank them.”
